The scorpion

he scorpion is part of the Arachnid family.

Its range is very large, living in caves, tropical and Mediterranean forests, in plants and on beaches, deserts and plains. Its size starts from 1.25 cm and its life span is of about 3 years.

Its venomous device is in its tail. It period of peak activity is early nighttime when it goes hunting. When it stings, its muscular tail is pointed towards the front with its stinger.

Symptoms are quite varied, in most cases the symptom being an intense on-and-off pain over 12 to 24 hours. There may be sweating, shaking, colic and nausea.
